Lesson on Living
Living on borrowed time,
is not very good for you.
A thousand things to do,
so much stress to get through.
Living with an axe,
hanging over your head.
Wondering what you can say,
to avoid ending up dead.
This is a lament,
for what the future may hold.
This is anxiety,
for how you may grow old.
Living in the moment,
is what you need to achieve.
We can each do some good,
is what I want to believe.
Living is not easy,
who ever said it would be?
We can each do some good,
try it, then you'll see.
