good times and bad,
when
you are happy or sad,
Who
stands with you now?
A
few friends who know how.
When
life’s storms blow you down,
and
everyone looks on you with a frown,
Will
there be anyone to help you out?
A
friend to give you a cheerful shout.
It
is a very lucky thing to have a friend,
who
will stand with you to the end.
In
fire, persecution and flood,
they
may even give you their blood.
So
if you have a friend this great,
be
sure to put some food on their plate.
Do
for them, what they do for you,
keep
the friendship alive and true.
