On a Trip

The 1am Poem           Dec. 2018

Can you show me new dreams?
distant wonders of delight.
A world not torn at the seams,
with sweet comfort at night.

I want to go there with you now.
dance to the music happy and bright.
We need to find it somehow,
drawn to its wild majestic might.

Can you take me on that trip?
to gaze at all the beauty in sight.
Imagination will be our ship,
together tomorrow will be alright.
