Ten
thousand years ago,
they worshiped the sun.
Were
they serious,
or
was it all in fun?
Its
a bright glowing ball,
far
away in the sky.
Its
not a god at all,
did
they believe a lie?
Yet
the sun does have power,
you
must admit that.
It
gives life to all plants,
so
just take off your hat.
Think
for a moment,
about
dark winter days.
How
depressed you are,
with
gray fog and haze.
When
bright brakes the sun,
it
can make flowers bloom.
You
will smile and have fun,
it
will banish the gloom.
